The Carolina Hurricanes are based in Raleigh, North Carolina and won their first Stanley Cup in the 2005-2006 season after relocating to North Carolina from Hartford in 1997.
The Hurricanes have three sweater colors including red, white and black and all three are very popular when it comes to Hurricanes merchandise. Any t-shirt, jacket, sweatshirt, hat or cap bearing the Hurricanes logo is also a very popular piece of Hurricanes collectibles. Most of these items can be fairly inexpensive, but collectibles such as sweaters will cost a bit more. There is even a luggage line that comes with the Hurricanes logo so fans can show their support no matter where they are. There are also plenty of Hurricanes collectibles for the house such as glassware and barware for the ultimate setup.
Hurricanes autographed memorabilia is also very popular. Any item such as a puck, stick, sweater or game program signed by players such as Ron Francis, Rod Brind’Amour, Eric Staal or Keith Primeau are all highly sought after and worthy of a center spot in any collection. Any autograph on a magazine or newspaper depicting a big win or the Stanley Cup championship is also valuable to the serious collector and fan.
